Brookelyn is a spunky little 4 year old girl who has Cerebral Palsy, Hydrocephalus, and a seizure disorder, stemming from Pneumococcal Meningitis when she was 3 months old.  Like many little girls, she loves all things Frozen, as well as water play and shoes!  Her wish for a trip to Disneyland came true, and her mom wrote:

“I just wanted to touch base and let you know our trip was a huge success!  Words cannot begin to express our gratitude. Everything went wonderfully!  The girls had a wonderful time, and Brookelyn thoroughly enjoyed her very special trip!  There was a little part of me that was worried Brookelyn may have become over stimulated, but she clearly proved me wrong!  She enjoyed and embraced every opportunity. We did a character breakfast and she loved it!  I worried the characters might scare her….not a chance!  She loved each and everyone of them up!  Hugs and kisses for them all. Not much breakfast was eaten, but that’s a minor detail!  The rides, again I worried she may have panicked and been scared!  Again, I was mistaken!  She continually screamed with delight!  By the end if the trip, she became mad when the rides ended not wanting to get off!

Disneyland, Universal Studios, the hotel, the vehicle rental; everyone was wonderful!  Very helpful and accommodating. The special needs assistance offered by Disneyland was incredible!  They were so patient and understanding; always willing to assist and give us a minute. We truly appreciated it; without that assistance, we would have not had the same experience. It allowed us to participate and feel like a ‘normal family’ that didn’t have anything to worry about it.  Thanks again for everything, this was a truly amazing experience for our whole family.”
